 Girls Ministries Distinctives

Girls Ministries has two distinctives that set them apart from other clubs: a code, which is the mind-set of all Girls Ministries sponsors and girls, and the Girls Ministries song. In addition, each club has it own distinctives, which include a club pledge, motto, colors, and Scripture verse.

 Girls Ministries Code
"Whatsoever things are true,
Whatsoever things are honest,
Whatsoever things are just,
Whatsoever things are pure,
Whatsoever things are lovely,
Whatsoever things are of good report;
If there be any virtue,
And if there be any praise,
Think on these things."
          -Philippians 4:8

 The Flags

The Girls Ministries Club takes time to demonstrate loyalty to our country, to Christ, and to Girls Ministries. This is done through regularly reciting the pledges to the American flag, the Christian flag, and the Girls Ministries flag.

When saying flag pledges, girls should stand holding their right hands over their hearts. Saluting is a sign of respect and a promise of loyalty to America, to God, and to Girls Ministries.

Pledge to the American Flag

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States
of America, and to the Republic for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty
and justice for all.

Pledge to the Christian Flag

I pledge allegiance to the Christian flag and to
the Savior for whose Kingdom it stands; one
brotherhood, uniting all true Christians in
service and in love.

Christian Flag

Pledge to the Girls Ministries Flag

I pledge allegiance to the Girls Ministries flag and to
the ministry for which it stands; girls united in
Christian living, in witnessing, in service, and
in love for others.

Pledge to the Bible

I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God's Holy Word. I will
make it a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path,
and will hide its words in my heart that I might not sin
against God.

NOTE: When saying the pledge to the Bible, extend your right hand toward the Bible (palm up). This shows love for God's word and your intention to follow the teachings given in the Bible.
