The
central characters in the Prims
curriculum are four girls--Megan,
Carmen, Kim, and Tonya--their sponsor,
Miss Debbie, and Megan's dog, Discover.
These characters are used in some
of the lesson stories as life application
references.
Prims
Club is a 2-year program for 1st
and 2nd-grade girls. The curriculum
is unit based; therefore, it is
extremely visitor friendly. Each
unit has four lessons and can be
completed in 1 month. Your girl
will need to complete 18 units (9
per year) during her time in Prims
Club.
When
your daughter brings home a Prims
emblem badge she has memorized the
Prims Club distinctives (pledge,
motto, colors, Scripture verse,
and song). After completing a unit,
she will earn a colorful unit badge
to wear on her sash. To earn a unit
badge, she must complete the age-appropriate
unit activity pages, memorize the
unit memory verse, and complete
one craft from the unit.
After
completing 18 units, she will be
eligible to wear the Honor Prim
Pin and will be considered an Honor
Prim.
Uniforms
Prims wear a navy jumper with a
white shirt as the official uniform.
A matching navy sash displays the
Missionettes and club emblem badges.
The achievement badges are placed
on the sash from left to right,
top to bottom, as they are earned.
Ask your Missionettes coordinator
for a copy of the reproducible badge
placement page or visit the Missionettes
Web site at missionettes.ag.org
to view the badge placement instructions.
Prims may also wear the Prims T-shirt
with or without the sash as the
official casual uniform.
