Rainbows
Club is
built around a Noah's Ark theme.
Mr. and Mrs. Noah are included in
some of the lesson stories. The
stories, Activity Pages, Take-Home
Pages, and music for each lesson
reinforce each unit's individual
theme. The program is designed to
be enjoyed and easily understood
by preschool children. It is also
designed to meet the specific spiritual
needs of these boys and girls.
Rainbows
is a program for preschool boys
and girls. The curriculum is unit
based, and is extremely visitor
friendly. Each unit has four lessons
and can be completed in one month.
Your child will need to complete
18 units during his or her time
in Rainbows Club.
When
your child brings home a Noah's
Ark badge he or she has memorized
the Rainbows Club distinctives (pledge,
motto, colors, Scripture verse,
and song). After completing a unit,
he or she will earn a colorful unit
badge to wear on his or her vest.
To earn a unit badge, your child
must complete the age-appropriate
unit activity pages and memorize
the unit memory verse.
After
completing 18 units (9 per year),
your child will earn the Honor Rainbow
Pin and will be considered an Honor
Rainbow.
Uniforms
Your child's official dress uniform
consists of a short navy vest. The
achievement badges earned should
be sewn onto the vest in random
order as they are earned. Ask your
church's Missionettes coordinator
for a copy of the reproducible badge
placement page or visit the Missionettes
Web site at missionettes.ag.org
to view the badge placement instructions.
Your child may also wear the Rainbows
T-shirt as the official casual uniform.
